“Direct Banking is a great starting point for a career with The National Bank - I’ve been working here for at least two years and I’ve learnt so much. I’ve known a lot of people who have started off at Direct Banking and have moved on to become specialists in other departments in the Bank.
On a day to day basis we are continuously dealing with customers, so it’s very important to have customer service experience. It’s great to be able to assist the customer as much as possible over the phone, as the systems we work with allow us to do so much more than what most people think.
The support and comfort of work colleagues makes my job even more worthwhile. I strongly believe that you need to have a “can do” attitude to make the most of working at Direct Banking.
The hours are very flexible, which is great as it suits all sorts of people, whether they’re studying or have families. I work from 7.00a.m.-3.30p.m., giving me the rest of the day to spend quality time with my little girl.”
