Our range of payment solutions includes flexible products that suit both your needs and those of your creditors, plus efficient ways to process your payroll.

Our payment options include:

• Direct Credits - ideal for multiple payments of variable amounts.
• Automatic Payments - make payments at any time, online or by touchtone phone banking.
• Bill Payments - make payments of variable amounts to pre-selected parties, at times you determine.

Direct Credits

A direct credit is an efficient way to handle multiple payments of variable amounts such as monthly accounts payable or wages and salaries. It is a reliable and secure method of payment that saves writing and handling cheques. Reconciliation is quick and easy.

You can make direct credit payments through DirectLink Online* (our web-enabled PC banking for businesses).

Automatic Payments

An automatic payment is a convenient way of making regular payments of fixed amounts such as the rental or lease for your premises.

Automatic payments are easy to cancel, amend or re-activate and both parties’ statements can display the payment details.

To establish an automatic payment you need to complete a simple, one-off authority form. If you have a single signatory account and a telephone banking PIN, you can set up automatic payments by phone.

Bill Payments

Our Bill Payment service enables you to make payments of variable amounts, such as utility bills, to pre-selected parties at times you determine. You create and manage bill payments via either Online Banking* or touchtone phone banking*, or both.

There are over 600 pre-authorised payees to which you can make payments, or you can set up your own payees at any time. Payment details can appear on both parties' statements. You can set up future-dated payments up to three months in advance and review them at any time.

* Only available to National Bank customers who have registered for this service. Some electronic banking services are available only for single signatory accounts.

Maximum payment amounts may apply for certain transactions. Fees may apply.
