A Thoroughbred Card or Cashpoint card gives you
access to these two convenient 24 hour, 365 day banking services:
Money Machines
You can do your everyday banking at hundreds of National Bank Cashpoint money machines around New Zealand.
Use National Bank Cashpoints to:

Withdraw cash

Check account balances
-
Make cash and cheque deposits
-
Transfer money between accounts e.g. pay your Thoroughbred Card account

Get a mini-statement of your latest ten transactions
You can also use other banks’ money machines. However, they will provide a limited range of services
for your National Bank accounts. You can:

Withdraw cash (limited account access at some other banks’ money machines)

Transfer money between accounts (only at some other banks’ money machines)

Check an account balance
Please note that, due to an arrangement with ANZ and TSB banks, you can use their ATM’s at no extra charge.
Should you choose to use an ASB, BNZ, HSBC, Westpac or Kiwibank ATM, you will incur a $1.00 fee for every
transaction.
EFTPOS
You can pay by EFTPOS with your Thoroughbred Card
or Cashpoint card at over 60,000 EFTPOS outlets around New Zealand. You may also be able to withdraw cash
with your purchases at many of these outlets.
