M-Banking lets you see the following information about your accounts, all through your mobile phone’s Internet browser:
- Check the balance of your everyday and savings accounts, term deposits, credit cards and loans
- View a mini-statement of your most recent transactions
- Transfer funds between your accounts
- Pay Anyone with a New Zealand Bank account
- Receive Account Alerts
- Retrieve your account numbers when you need to remember them.
To use M-Banking, all you need is:
- A browser enabled mobile phone that allows access to the Internet
- To be registered for National Bank Touchtone Phone Banking.
National Bank Mobile Phone Banking allows you to access your accounts from your mobile phone at any time of the day, wherever there is mobile phone coverage.

To access M-Banking
- open your mobile phone’s Internet browser, and open your unique link
- enter your 7-16 digit M-Banking PIN
To use M-Banking
- Select the function you want from the main menu and enter the information when prompted. The functions are easy to follow - they direct you on what to do as you go through them.

Registering for M-Banking is easy. All you need to do is:
- Call us on 0800 22 82 82
- Visit any National Bank branch.
After you’ve completed one of the above options, we’ll send your mobile phone a text message with a unique link to access National Bank M-Banking.
- Use the unique link to open National Bank M-Banking on your mobile phone’s Internet browser
- Enter your Activation Code and choose a new M-Banking PIN
Remember to save the unique link in your mobile phone’s Internet browser for the next time you want to access National Bank M-Banking.
