What are account nicknames?
Account nicknames allows you to rename your accounts with personalised names e.g.
nickname your eSaver account as 'My big OE'. This helps you identify your accounts
in account lists.
Are my account nicknames available across all channels?
No, your account nicknames are only available in Online Banking. In all other channels
the account product type will be used e.g. eSaver.
I’ve navigated to the Create Nicknames screen, and decide not
to create an Account Nickname. An error message is displayed, but I am unable to
'cancel' the action.
You can navigate away from the Accounts Nickname screen by selecting one of the
tabs on the top toolbar.
I'm entering an Account Nickname that is not accepted by
the system.
When creating Account Nicknames, words that are created using macrons or accents
e.g. café are not accepted and will elicit an error message. Macrons and accents
are special characters and are not able to be used in Online Banking.
