Our rural sponsorships

The National Bank is proud to put something back into the rural communities we serve. We support activities and events that are important to the community and that make a positive contribution to rural life. They include:

  • Young Farmer Contest – since October 2003 The National Bank has been the Principal Sponsor of the Young Farmer Contest, showing our commitment to developing New Zealand’s future farm and agribusiness leaders
  • South Island Dairy Event (SIDE) – we are a sponsor of SIDE, helping to address the specific needs and issues of South Island dairy farmers
  • Other sponsorships – we support a wide range of other activities in communities throughout New Zealand. Our sponsorships are an investment in the future of our country and support things that are important to New Zealanders.
